PREPARATION METHOD

MEAT

  1. First, to prepare the minced meat, sauté the onion in a pan with oil.
  2. Then add the ground beef and sauté for about 10 minutes or until the liquid is completely dry.
  3. Then, with the help of a fork, break up the balls formed by the meat to leave it loose.
  4. Once the meat is dry, add the tomatoes and salt and sauté until they wilt.
  5. Then add the stock and olives and cook for about 5 minutes.
  6. Once ready, turn off the oven and set aside.

MASHED POTATOES

Now, to prepare the mashed potato, cook the potatoes for about 20 minutes or until they soften. Once cooked, drain the water and squeeze through a ricer. Then put them in a saucepan with the milk and vegetable stock, stir well, add the butter, stir more and set the mixture aside.

MONTAGING

Finally, assemble the pie by placing the minced meat in a baking dish, followed by the mashed potatoes. Finish by sprinkling on the grated cheese and bake in the oven for about 10 minutes to brown. Serve afterwards.
