- 1 can of green corn with the water
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup oil
- 3 eggs
- 1 chicken stock cube
- Salt to taste
- 3 cups wheat flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- Margarine and flour for greasing and flouring
Stuffing
- 4 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 chopped onion
- 2 chopped garlic cloves
- 1 chopped tomato
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1/2 can drained peas
- 1/2 can drained green corn
- 3 cups cooked and shredded chicken
- 1/2 cup chopped greens
- Salt and pepper to taste
For the filling, heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the onion and garlic for 3 minutes.
Then add the tomatoes, extract, peas and corn and sauté for 3 minutes.
Then add the chicken, green peppercorns, salt and pepper and cook for another 3 minutes. Turn off and leave to cool.
Then blend the corn, milk, oil, eggs and salt in a blender until smooth.
Finally, transfer to a bowl, add the flour and baking powder and mix with a spoon.
Pour half of the dough into a greased and floured 30cm x 22cm pan.
Then spread the filling and cover with the rest of the dough.
Then bake in a medium, preheated oven for 40 minutes or until golden brown.
Leave to cool, cut into squares and serve.
