Ingredients:
- 1 cup caramel sugar
- 1 liter of milk
- 4 yolks
- 5 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 can of condensed milk
- 1 tablespoon vanilla essence
- 4 egg whites
- 1 cup sugar
- Lemon zest
How to prepare: Husband Hunter Pudding recipe
Put the sugar in a saucepan and heat, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes or until it melts and turns into caramel. Then pour into a 30 cm diameter pudding dish and set aside.
Then put the milk, egg yolks, cornstarch, condensed milk and vanilla in a saucepan. Bring to the boil, stirring constantly, for 10 minutes or until it thickens.
Then pour into the caramelized pan and set aside. Using a mixer, beat the egg whites until stiff and add the sugar, beating well until it forms a meringue that doesn't fall off the spoon.
Finally, mix in the lemon zest and spread over the pudding in the pan. Bake for 10 minutes or until the meringue is lightly browned.
Then remove from the oven and refrigerate for 4 hours. Unmold and serve.
