FROZEN LUNCHBOXES CHICKEN STROGANOFF

INGREDIENTS

Chicken stroganoff:

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 200g mushrooms, sliced (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons of wheat flour
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Rice:

  • 2 cups of rice
  • 4 cups of water
  • Salt to taste

PREPARATION METHOD

  1. Preparation of the stroganoff:
    • In a saucepan, first heat the butter and brown the chicken until it is completely cooked.
    • Then add the onion, garlic and mushrooms and sauté until soft.
    • Sprinkle in the wheat flour and mix well.
    • Pour in the chicken stock little by little, stirring continuously.
    • Add the mustard, ketchup, sour cream and season with salt and pepper.
