This recipe is very simple to prepare and I'm sure that if you follow our step-by-step instructions, you'll be able to make it and it will be delicious.
PREPARATION METHOD
- Place the cassava pieces in a pressure cooker. Then cover with water and bring to the boil, cooking until soft.
- Then drain, remove the fiber from the center and mash while still hot with a fork.
- Then mix in the stock powder. Place in a baking dish (30 cm x 20 cm) greased with oil or olive oil.
- Compress well with your hands. Then place in the freezer for 20 minutes.
- Finally, remove the pieces and mark them with a knife to the size you prefer (the size I made yielded 96 pieces).
- Put back in the freezer for another 20 minutes.
- Fry the pieces in hot oil in small portions until golden brown.
- Serve your creamy fried cassava afterwards.
NOTE: Leftovers that have not been fried can be stored in freezer-safe containers.
