This recipe is ideal for those who don't have much time to spend in the kitchen.
Ingredients: Cassava dumpling
- 300 g cassava (2 cups);
- 4 tablespoons of margarine or butter;
- Four tablespoons of grated cheese;
- 4 tablespoons of wheat flour;
- 150 g mozzarella cheese;
- 3 tablespoons of water;
- Salt, pepper and parsley to taste;
- Milk or eggs (for breading);
- Breadcrumbs (for breading).
The preparation of this recipe is very simple and I'm sure that if you follow it step by step you'll be able to make your recipe, it will be wonderful.
Directions
Cook the cassava until smooth and drain the water;
Then mashed potato the cooked cassava with a fork into a puree;
Then get a saucepan and put it on a low heat. Next, let the butter sauté, then add the flour and stir until you get a kind of dough;
Now add the mashed cassava, grated cheese, salt, pepper and parsley;
Then mix everything together very well and add more water little by little until it forms a consistency that is difficult to stir;
Then transfer the ingredients to another baking dish and wait for it to cool;
Finally, with the dough warm or cold, knead it with sanitized and greased hands until you have a solid but soft dough;
Make small balls and place a square of mozzarella inside.
Bread the balls in egg and flour; fry in hot oil or, if you prefer,
bake in a preheated oven at 250ºC for 30 minutes; it's ready!
Can it freeze?
