HOW TO MAKE SWEET PEACH MOUSSE
INGREDIENTS
- 1 can (400g) peaches in syrup (or 2 cups peeled and sliced fresh peaches)
- 1 can (395g) condensed milk
- 1 can (300ml) heavy cream
- 1 packet (12g) of colorless, unflavored gelatine
- 3 tablespoons of water to hydrate the gelatine
PREPARATION METHOD
- Hydrate the colorless gelatine in 3 tablespoons of water and set aside.
- If you are using peaches in syrup, drain and reserve the syrup.
- Place the peaches, condensed milk and cream in a blender. Blend until smooth.
- Heat the hydrated gelatine in a bain-marie or in the microwave until it dissolves completely.
- Add the dissolved gelatine to the blender mixture and blend again until well incorporated.
- If you want a lighter texture, add the peach syrup little by little until you reach the desired consistency.
- Pour the mousse into individual bowls or onto a platter.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until the mousse is firm.
- Decorate with peach slices or chocolate shavings, if desired.
