HOW TO MAKE SWEET PEACH MOUSSE

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 can (400g) peaches in syrup (or 2 cups peeled and sliced fresh peaches)
  • 1 can (395g) condensed milk
  • 1 can (300ml) heavy cream
  • 1 packet (12g) of colorless, unflavored gelatine
  • 3 tablespoons of water to hydrate the gelatine

PREPARATION METHOD

  1. Hydrate the colorless gelatine in 3 tablespoons of water and set aside.
  2. If you are using peaches in syrup, drain and reserve the syrup.
  3. Place the peaches, condensed milk and cream in a blender. Blend until smooth.
  4. Heat the hydrated gelatine in a bain-marie or in the microwave until it dissolves completely.
  5. Add the dissolved gelatine to the blender mixture and blend again until well incorporated.
  6. If you want a lighter texture, add the peach syrup little by little until you reach the desired consistency.
  7. Pour the mousse into individual bowls or onto a platter.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until the mousse is firm.
  9. Decorate with peach slices or chocolate shavings, if desired.
