Ingredients:
- 3 eggs (whites and yolks separated)
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup wheat flour
- One cup cornstarch
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
Put the sugar, butter and egg yolks in a mixer and beat until smooth. Then, without stopping beating, alternately add the sifted flour, the cornstarch dissolved in the milk and finally the baking powder.
Then gently fold in the egg whites, beaten until stiff, and transfer to a greased and floured baking dish.
Finally, bake in a preheated oven until a toothpick comes out clean (about 30 minutes).
Then wait for it to cool, cut into squares and serve your simple cake with cornstarch.
